Letter of Reference for Danny's Dog Walkers

We have been using Danny's Dog Walkers since mid-September, 1999, when our dog Zorro, a standard poodle, was just 13 weeks old. Danny's service was very accommodating to me. I had a difficult time getting a dog walker: Many of the services were not taking new customers and some did not service my area (Logan Square). Danny assured me that this was not a problem and so far, it has not been.

When you entrust the care of your four-legged baby to someone (not to mention giving someone access to your home!), you naturally have reservations. I stayed home for the first couple of weeks we had him, so it was really hard to leave Zorro, but I did not have anything to worry about - Danny's service has always been extremely competent and reliable! I am not one to gush about things, but they genuinely care about Zorro. There were a couple of occasions when I stayed home and forgot to tell them not to come so I saw first hand how much Zorro enjoys their visits! He jumped into their arms and wagged his entire body and licked their faces and I could tell that they really did like each other. My fiance and I don't get that enthusiastic of greeting from him sometimes!

On several
occasions, when Zorro was under the weather, the dog walker called me at work to let me know, for which I was really grateful. Once, when Zorro was really sick and had an accident in his crate, the dog walker took the time to clean it up and let me know what was going on.

If the dog walker is going on vacation or leaving the service (I should mention we have only had 2 different walkers for the past 6 months. The first one left because she was moving out of state), they always transition another person into the job ahead of time so the dog isn't surprised with an unfamiliar face.

I always know what Zorro "did" on the walk, too, because the dog walker leaves a cheerful note with lots of information. Also, if I leave a note for her, I am confident that any instructions will be followed.
One last thing - there were a few times that we called for last minute walks for weekend days (once during busy holiday season we were out Christmas shopping) and they were always able to accommodate us!

I highly recommend Danny's Dog Walkers. I am usually the first person to let the world know when I am not pleased with a service but honestly, I have never had a problem with them. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to talk directly.

Sincerely
Judy Troyer
