Dear Danny,
I understand that Pete is leaving Danny's Dogwalkers to become a bike messenger. I thought that with this transition, I would send a quick note of thanks, a schedule change request and a reminder about use of Finnegan's choke collar to please communicate with Finnegan's new walker.
Pete was the third walker that Finnegan has had in two years of life. Everyone at Danny's Dogwalkers has been great, and in a special way I would like to acknowledge the wonderful care and attention that Aleicia and Pete have given to Finnegan. Alicia taught Finn to climbing stairs and everything else a new puppy needs to learn to make it in the world. As Finn has gotten older and bigger, Pete has been a terrific walker and trainer. He is very reliable and strong (important in managing an 85 pound Labrador) and has been a great influence on my dog.
With Finnegan turning two yeas old, I am reducing his number of daily walks to one a day. Ideally his one-a-day walk will take place between 12-1:30 p.m. Please let me know if that will pose any scheduling problems. I will keep with the schedule I've had for the last year of him being walked Monday-Friday with the exception of Wednesdays, when Finnegan goes to puppy school all day.
Lastly, I would like to remind Danny's Dogwalkers and Finnegan's new walker of a specific request I have for Finnegan (which I shared with both Alicia and Pete), which is that when his silver choke collar is used for a walk, his leash must also be hooked to his rope collar for back-up in the even the silver collar pops open (or is released by Finnegan scratching his neck). If there is any problem with the walker fulfilling this request, please let me know. I will assume that this is the protocol your walker will follow unless you let me know that this is not possible for some reason.
Again, thank you and your great staff for the service you provide. I would be happy to write a testimonial recommending Danny's Dogwalkers at anytime, just let me know.
Sincerely,
Lorraine Snyder
